Love couldn’t be more complicated than a girl falling for a vampire who craves your blood. Based on the bestselling novel by Stephenie Meyer, Twilight is not just a love story; It’s a twisted tale of beauty and the retrained beast.

Bella Swan moves to Washington with her father and becomes the ‘shiny toy’ every man wants to save for one, but he’s no ordinary boy. 17-year-old Edward Cullen is a vampire who tries not to become a bloodsucking monster by adopting a vegetarian diet, meaning he feeds on animal blood. The story is about Bella’s lack of self-preservation and Edward’s masochism. This forbidden love story takes a new turn when James, a very good sadistic vampire, vows to kill Bella.

In the film, Bella was played by Kristen Stewart, star of several Top 10 films, and British actor Robert Pattinson, who became an on-screen vampire. Pattinson, who also had a small role in one of the Harry Potter films, did not live up to expectations. Portraying the same expression, he stood tall and looked handsome. Stewart was no different on screen; It’s safe to say that the two are well suited. As for the other characters, Billy Burke, the star of many top-rated films, who portrayed Bella’s father, Chief Swan, did an admirable job. Dr. Peter Facinelli and Taylor Lautner respectively. Carlisle Cullen and Jacob Black were praised for their roles in the film. There’s certainly some action – a fight scene between James and Edward, an accident and a tree-climbing, and an engaging ball game. Other than Robert Pattinson, only Thunder Ball is worth watching Twilight.

Like all top rated movies, music in this movie is another factor that attracts the audience. Despite the stellar performance of the actors, Summit Entertainment, the producer of some of the top 10 films, grossed US$ 384.9 million worldwide, of which $35.7 million was collected on its first day of release on 21 November 2009. Directed by Catherine Hardwicke, who has directed several top films, Twilight may have received mixed reviews from critics, but managed to impress fans. The much awaited movie was not as funny and entertaining as the novel but managed to win the hearts of the youth. Silliness and teenage angst aside, Twilight, soon to be a top-rated movie, is a must-see for anyone who enjoys teenage drama.
