Everpure Filter Water Treatment – Don’t Waste Your Money on an Everpure Filter
Everpure filter water treatment has certainly made a name for itself. But instead of it’s quality results or it’s affordable products making it popular, it’s the image and aggressive marketing strategy that’s made a name for them. Here’s why Everpure filter water treatment is not all it’s made out to be.
I think it’s safe to say that the most important factors that go into getting home filtration system is QUALITY and AFFORDABILITY, right?
As far as quality goes, the cheapest Everpure filter ($324) only filters out a fraction of all the different contaminants found in drinking water. They remove sediment, small particles, natural minerals, about 90% of chlorine, and close to all lead and cysts. But that’s it really.
What are they unable to remove?
*Chlorinated byproducts, or THMs (only with their $387 unit can SOME of these be removed)
*Volatile organic chemicals, or VOCs (again, these can only be removed with a more expensive model)
*Synthetic organic chemicals, or SOCs
*Pesticides and Herbicides
*The chemical MTBE (only in more expensive models)
*Solvents
These are the kind of contaminants that should be removed by ALL STANDARD FILTRATION SYSTEMS. THM’s can be carcinogenic (most women with breast cancer have 50%-60% higher levels of THMs in their breast tissue than women without cancer) and over 2,100 different toxic chemicals were found in tap water that are carcinogenic as well.
A big reason why home everpure filter water treatment doesn’t work as well is because they don’t use a multi-stage process to remove contaminants. When all contaminants are attempted to be removed at the same time, inconsistencies and inefficiencies are bound to exist.
The key is to remove as much sediment, cloudiness, and chlorine first so the next stage can focus on getting rid of more serious and difficult contaminants like chemicals, lead, cysts, and other organisms found in water.
Now as far as the affordability of everpure filter water treatment goes, they are significantly overpriced, especially for the quality they provide! It’s their name brand that allows them to charge such a high price, and it’s this exact high price that makes it seem like these products are of high quality. But don’t be fooled!
My family and I use a filtration system in our home that removes over 99% of all contaminants in tap water, and certified documentation backs it up too. You know how much the whole system cost? Less than $100! By buying to factory direct, we got a great deal (saved $50) and a system voted #1 filtration system by Consumer Digest for 6 years straight. And all it costs for a whole gallon of pure, safe, healthy drinking water is 9 cents!
