Emptiness of Life
This short poem tells all about the conflict between God and me. I emphasize the importance of God’s presence in life. Without God guiding our decisions every day, it is futile. Because if God is not the center of our lives, we can experience total darkness. I have offended God many times but finally I am looking for Him. In short I need it in my life. So I can say that we need a loving friend in our life. Always ready to comfort us whenever we face problems. Not like our earthly friend who is not able to give something like that. You can notice in my poem that I value my God:
“The Emptiness of Life”
Why does the world make me so sad?
I feel like a lunatic as I travel my life.
Crazy in a life full of sin.
No matter how hard I walk in the path of God.
Life without God is full of emptiness.
Every day I walk the streets of darkness.
I kept searching but I couldn’t find anything.
Because I forget the origin of everything.
Now I’m here!
Invoking the help of Almighty God.
Hope to bless all my plan.
And comfort me when I am sad.
In the first verse which is;
Why does the world make me so sad?
I feel like a lunatic as I travel my life.
Crazy in a life full of sin.
No matter how hard I walk in the path of God. I feel completely dark. As a man I appreciate my weaknesses. In which I commit various types of sins from time to time. By that sinful act I feel that it is far away from me. No matter how much I try to change for the glory of God.
In the second verse;
Life without God is full of emptiness.
Every day I walk the streets of darkness.
I kept searching but I couldn’t find anything.
Because I forget the origin of everything. – This refers to things happening in my dark life. I suffer the consequences every day. I persevere to get back to him.
In the last verse which is;
Now I’m here!
Invoking the help of Almighty God.
Hope to bless all my plan.
And comfort me when I am sad. – I surrender completely to Almighty God. I value its existence. And put my full trust in him.
