Father Wounds: Can A Man Be Domesticated If He Had An Abusive Father?

No choice

This suggests that his father and perhaps his mother were more concerned with their own needs. Therefore, having a son who displayed strength and masculinity, one or both parents felt threatened.
The injuries, most of which went back to their earliest years, would have prevented the child’s aggressive/fighting instincts from fully entering their conscious awareness, essentially killing them. By beating this side out of him, they ended up with a much tamer version of him and were able to mold him into who he wanted to be.
History repeats itself
His parents may have gone through a similar process in their early years with parents who didn’t do more damage. Thanks to being in a position of power, he was able to experience indirect revenge.
Oblivious to their own pain – what actually motivated their behavior – they may have misbehaved for his own good and ‘disciplined’ him. In fact, it would have been in his own best interests to receive the love, support, and guidance he needed to stay connected and, as a result, connect to his inner fire.
consciousness
Thanks to their own inability to deal with their own wounds and a pattern of abuse that may go back generations, their son was unprepared for the real world. Instead, he was greatly diminished and set up for constant victimization by others.
If a man can relate to this and is ready to change his life, he may need to reach out for external support. This is something that can be provided with the help of a therapist or healer.
