Looking out my window at a quiet park
Rain is falling through the misty darkness
I will sit and smoke
But I have no light
It doesn’t seem like that either
Going to town tonight
When I went back to my village, I could not see anything
Looked around but nobody knew the name
Buildings have sprung up in the fields
The roads are dense
With frantic traffic flow
It doesn’t seem to be stopping
As time goes on, it is not the same
Things will evolve, rightly or wrongly
You have no choice
Destiny has no other way
But you can choose
To keep the change
You can keep the changes
Try to finance it, but I can’t get it out of my head
That if I don’t succeed, I won’t have anything when I die
Keep up with the Joneses
No time to wait and play
How can you be a child again?
If you want to grow up today
Looking out my porthole where a park used to be
The nozzles spray some moisture, the lights go off in the dark
If I go out, they will find me
And try to make me right
So I stay here in my cubicle
And hide all night
Camping vacation? – By El Brumet?
The sound of the shower
rippling
laughing
pour water
Moving ’round rocks and branches
Like a circular log of flames
knocking stone
pound
Drowning out all other sounds
Except the blowing wind
Where through the boughs
Birds chirp and play
and echo responses
rings
Like a chime in my heart?.?
